HOMEWORK CRAZINESS!!!!!!!!

Grrr. I thought today would be an easy day with only french english and dance. Fat chance.



French gives us a paper Tshirt due Friday and we have to do a speech on it.



English has a paper due next week and a project on tucson due next tuesday.



And I will have Algebra 2 hw tomorrow night that is also due friday, followed by a quiz friday in that very same class.

back to school craziness

so. our first week is complete.



for the record, erin and jess's locker is officially amazing, and my p.e. locker will not open for me, which kind of sucks.



it has been raining for the past two days.



ummm... lets see. ancient civ is insanely easy, so is french. computers, english, science are amazing. then dance is really really awesome too, and we finish it off with algebra 2. not too horrible, except for the locker room to the lower 400s, a commute which just sucks.



what else to say? hmm. i don't know what else is that exciting.



well i guess i did just get moved up at dance, which is pretty sweet if i do say so myself.

anyhow, i will try to blog again later, as dinner calls and i am hungry!

Alaska

Here it goes...



Days 1 and 2. Drove to Seattle, nothing too exciting. 2 days of driving. Anyone who's been on a long road trip can relate.



Day 3. Boarded the ship. Stateroom pretty cramped, but nice. My bed came down from the ceiling... very cool.

A brief note about the ship... The Golden Princess, of Princess Cruise Lines. We were on the Inside Passage. It had 4 pools, unlimited pizza and fast food, and free food anywhere you turned.

Day 4. At Sea. That was by far the worst day, as I was not expecting it to be that bad, rolling and such. Let's just say my breakfast didn't stay in my stomach. So we chilled and watched movies and TV all day. A note on movies at the end of the post.

Day 5. Juneau. We went on a dogsledding adventure, and rode on a big cart thing (no snow) and then we got to hold the puppies. They were SO CUTE!!!! Mine had these big blue eyes and was chewing on my bangs, my sweatshirt, and my wrist... very adorable. We also went shopping. I now have an Alaska sweatshirt that says "Abercrabie and Fish" and some "Chocolate Moose" PJs. Pretty sweet.

Day 6. Skagway. We went fishing, but we think it was a hoax... no one caught anything! The lake was beautiful, though, so it was still fun. Just freezing.

Day 7. Glacier watching through a fjord. Gorgeous scenery! We saw the glacier. It was pretty sweet but we couldn't get too close. There was a lot of ice in the water.

Day 8. Ketchikan. Nothing too exciting there.

Day 9. Victoria, Canada. Beautiful city. We saw lots of little shops, and pretty flowers... nice place.

Day 10. Disembarkation Day. We left the ship, and drove all day. Stayed at a nice hotel but I stayed in the hot tub too long and almost blacked out. Not good.

Day 11. Drove all the way home.

Today I danced from 9-3. I'm kind of tired so more tomorrow.

Dance Shows and Awkward Butterflies... a.k.a. my summer before alaska

my mom and i were walking cali and we walked out the door and saw, i kid you not, butterflies mating on our tree. most certainly a sight you do not see everyday.

geez! i really need to blog again!

I just realized how long it has been since i last blogged! I am very sorry, oh faithful fans (although this is probably useless, bcuz basically no one besides me and dani really read my blog. *sigh*). I have been very busy shopping and cleaning. The first part is fun, the second part not so much. but you know. it's all good.

The funniest thing happened at dance on Thursday. We were making up dances to the lion king (don't ask!) and our group made up an awesome dance. The other group decided to spoof it. It was annoying, but extremely funny. Oh geez.

Anyhow, I have to blog on our other blog, but I will wait until later. Anna shall have to hurt me.

Indiana Jones and my adventures at the movies

Wow. So, as you probably all know, I went to a sleepover on Friday w/ my dance friend. We went to the movies and saw Indiana Jones, but more on the movie later. Prior to the movie, I managed to choke on my water, after eating popcorn, thus barfing all over myself and the floor (luckily for me I didn't really puke on the seat, and additionally, the movie hadn't started yet.)

As I wasn't feeling sick, we cleaned me up in the bathroom and went back to watch the movie. Were the people sitting next to us surprised!!! It was overall a very funny experience.

The movie is really good... there is an interesting twist with aliens, a son is introduced, and there is also a really gross part with ants. But I would recommend it.

Anyways, there you go. Just a day in the life.

OMG!!!!

Wow. It has been an awesome day, and it is not over yet.

Today was the last day of school. It was a yearbook signing party, and it was tons of fun!

More importantly, I got a cell phone! It was my 8th grade graduation gift. I have unlimited txting, and I am super duper excited!!! It is an enV2 and it is amazing!!! If you are one of my friends you already have the number and if you are just a random person then you don't need my number. If you are my friend but I forgot to send you my number, I will send it ASAP, especially if you tell me to send it in a post.

gtg. I have a sleepover to pack for!!

How is it possible to be excited and sad at the same time?

1 Day Left.

I'm really excited, but also sad at the same time: I've been here for 2 years, and I really like some of the teachers that I'm going to leave behind. It's kind of sad.

Mrs. Huff gave us these really sweet Eiffel Tower pencil sharpeners. They are so cool!

I'm most sad about being not sure I will see my friends again. But, as Miranda said, "I know we'll see each other again! Besides, even if we don't, we will keep in contact and be friends. I don't want to start over again! It took me too long to find you guys!"

And, as much as I admit I hate P.E., I will miss it too. Our locker room was always fun, and of course, I got a chance to talk to Dani for about an hour. But it finished today by watching part of the Bee Movie. Such a cute movie!

Summertime, Summertime, Sum Sum Summertime...

Bonjour! Since we have 3 days until summer, I have a few notes about it.

I do like summer. Don't get me wrong. However,

1. I developed allergies to some kind of flower. Joy.

2. The areas that have been sunburned: my knees, my nose, my entire arms.

3. Sunscreen (eww)

4. Bugs

5. The incredible heat!

So yeah. BYE BYE!

So. My life right now in a nutshell

1. I'm really supposed to be working on my science project.

2. I just rewrote my this I believe. it's kind of sad

3. I have a horrific sunburn on my knees from sitting outside all day. It was ticket day, so we sat out all day to buy tickets for my recital. OUCH!

4. I also have a little sunburn on my arms, but it isn't too bad.

5. Friday night was awesome.

6. I really should be working on that science project.

7. This is really random, because it's basically like my thought process.

8. My sunburn really hurts right now.

9. 5 DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!

Anyways. My though process. I think I'm going to go get an ice pack for my sunburn. It draws the heat out a little, which really helps. That's what i've been doing on and off for the last 12 hours or so.

Weekend, Dancing, DU, and life in general

So.

My weekend at DU first.

You probably don't know this. But I took the ACT in December.

I got a 27. That scored in the top 10% of all RMTS students, so we went to this awards ceremony. Except then they were being retarded (no offense to anyone, you all know what I mean) and so we had to stay there all day. The one good thing? I got Ben and Jerry's ice cream, which was amazing!

So anyways. It was kind of boring, but whatev.

Thoughts on dance come next.

I only have 1 more Monday class! Then it is DONE!!! FOR THE YEAR!!! It can't be. It's just, well, TOO DEPRESSING!!!!

So anyways.

On life in general, we have several reminders:

1. Stay away from snapping turtles *SHUDDER*

2. Grapes and mashed potatoes are pretty sweet to flick using a plastic bag (that's what some of our table did during lunch)

3. Never trust Alyssa if you want an ENTIRELY FACTUAL BIOGRAPHY.

Wow. I haven't blogged in a long time!

So.

I haven't blogged in what feels like forever. And do I have a lot to say!

1. Math subs are not always cream of the crop. One didn't know what they were talking about, and the other said "Shut up! it's too noisy" about every 5 seconds.

I would go on in excruciating detail about this, but who wants to hear about that?

2. Friday can't come fast enough. I tried out for the talent show after school today. It went well. I really think I made it, and although this sounds egocentric of me, if I didn't i will be REALLY pissed.

3. Had more RAM leading today. I missed math and P.E. again *cheers* and I had Ellie in my group. She's a dance friend.

4. We went to Vista today. What a waste of time. It was basically a "RAH RAH SUPPORT VISTA SPORTS" day. pointless.

My CRAZY Weekend

So. My weekend was kind of insane.

Friday: Laurel and Jennifer came over. We worked on our retarded Industrial Revolution project.

Saturday: Dance until 2. Go over to cousins' house to watch the Kentucky Derby. Babysit until 11.

Sunday: Go down to CO Springs and get pointe shoes. Head to Laurel's house for more Industrial Revolution crap.

It was a lot of stuff to do this weekend. I was VERY busy. So I couldn't blog. Sorry!!!

Venting from P.E. and tennis with miranda

P.e. first.

I got a C on my test. This makes me really really pissed off... Because here's the thing. We got 4 periods of soccer, then we are told, "OK study test next period." I've been trying to study as well as I can for the past week and then I come in to take the test. However nothing on the test was on the study guide, so I missed 5 which is a C. Yea me.

Next I had lunch.

Miranda and I played tennis. OK game, but never play it:

1. With Anna
2. For more than 2 minutes

I made the second mistake. We finally mutually gave up because we were both too stubborn and it really hurt. I now have massive bruises on my hand. It still hurts.

Anyways. This is like the place I vent so sorry about all of that.

I am seriously going to break down one of these days.

sorry about the rant. it's just like, the closer we get to the end of school, the more homework and pressure we have to do EVERYTHING and it really bugs me. Maybe I'm just pessimistic today because of yesterday. Are you ready for this?

Afterschool: mom got really POed because I had to go in early for the math test I missed and then she thought my room was too messy and then I had dance for three hours and we had to do 64 releves on pointe with tennis balls in between our feet. It hurts. A lot.

This morning: Woke up at 5:30 to go take a math test (i did get an A) Then i had Social studies (ewwww)

so sorry about the ranting. it's not all my fault.

iPods Rule!!!!

we are able to listen to our iPods today. i am proud of myself because i brought my iPod today... normally i don't. Anyways I am listening to "the way i are" which is a really good song with interesting (in an interesting way) lyrics and an amazing beat. Wait now it changed to low... i have amazing memories of this song like in miami... we danced to this during our formal dance... We were in ballgowns and high heels and it was just awesome. anyways enough with orange bowl experience... i can blog about that later because i have hundreds of orange bowl stories.

Erin no like soccer

I hate soccer. No offense to all you soccer fiends, but seriously, soccer is so NOT COOL!!!! First of all, our team was 4 girls and then this other kid, Dylan. More on that later. Second, everyone totally ganged up on us and it was like me, Dani, and Jessie against Ricky, Alex, Nick, and other random kids. We got scored on... A lot. But that wasn't all our fault. See, Ricky kicked the ball at Jessie's shin, like, 4 times, and her shin started bleeding. Then Nick and Alex both kicked the ball at me and it hit right above my knee... my inner thigh... it got all splotchy then it turned red and right now it's purple. So. Yeah. The only sort of good thing was that Dylan is totally amazing at soccer and so he saved us from totally dying. Anyways it kind of sucks cuz we have to do that every P.E. period pretty much.

I am very excited for sixth grade tours. I am touring Summit View and Bear Canyon and a couple other ones that i don't remember except it's really stupid because Anna is touring Heritage and I am not and I ACTUALLY WENT THERE!!!!!!!!! Sorry about that. Got a little carried away there.

Anna and I are starting a Twilight blog. I am not telling you the address until after we finish it, but be prepared, for it is a kick &@# blog with amazing HTML by Dani, polls, pics of movie stars, and countdowns of when the books and movies come out (we've got breaking dawn, the movie, and midnight sun countdowns). it is sooooo cool, and the cast includes Alice Cullen (Anna) Rosalie Cullen (Erin) and obviously our amazing technical blogger (Dani). we only got 1 double sided page for math homework. it definitely beats 19 pages. i got it all done in class. The other good thing about today? i don't have P.E.

You know Twilight? They picked the actor who played Cedric Diggory to be the (extremely hot) Edward. Except Cedric isn't hot. It makes me mad.

Back to School

Well, I'm back. Kicking and screaming, yes, but back. I've just come from a Social Studies quiz. And you know what i discovered? I hate/detest/don't understand SEEC. We never learned it, and then it pops up onto tests. i don't know what to do with it! it doesn't make sense.

i don't have p.e. today! yeah! but tomorrow we probably will run the mile. i hate long distance running. it's evil. just like mrs. willis!!!!!

this is boring. we are working in access. it's pretty easy.

anyways. i don't get why dani doesn't like twilight. it's amazing! she'll come around later... *maniac laugh* jk. i don't mean that. but still.

Today I had a competition. It's called the choreography competition, and basically you make a solo (or duet, or trio, or, well, you get the idea) and show it to judges and they decide if you get to be in recital with it. That was this morning. I did my solo to popular, from the musical "wicked". I think I did well, but still wish me luck if you are reading this. Ready? Thanks guys. That makes me happy! :-) Anyways, the play people were fantastic (seriously guys, totally worth going to!) and it was a really good play in general. hi again. I am in epub. yet again. This is totally like my blogging time! Anyways. i am very excited. I am going to see the school play tonight!!! it is the Lady Pirates of Captain Bree. like, all of my bffs are in it, and so i am going to support them. My friends who aren't in it are either coming w/ me or unable to come (miranda, i had to put u in somewhere!). So yeah. i am totally excited!

We had career day today. you probably think that it is totally weird for middle schoolers to have "career day". i agree. But it was kind of cool. We saw this one actress, who was really cool, and a pretty cute fireman. Then we decided that all firemen are hot. That was just Paige and Andrea and Erica and i. so if you don't agree, too bad. Take it up with them.

A day in the life of ME!!!!

So. Hi. What's up? I am in epub right now. For those of you that don't know what that is, it is "electronic publishing". It is basically the best class ever!!!! Today we had a party. It was really fun. i brought those amazing sugar cookie things. Those are really good. Right now we're SUPPOSED to be working in microsoft Access, but no one really cares if I am doing that right now. Anyways, I have lunch next and we are spending it convincing Dani to read Twilight. it is SOOO good. They are making a movie out of it, but the guy who is going to play Edward is so NOT HOT!!!!! Sorry dani but he isn't. Again, moving right along... I kind of have to go now. later!!!
